This Farm Energy Day program will provide overviews of a sampling of sustainable and renewable (“green”) energy issues as they relate to farmers and landowners in the region, with special attention to growing bioenergy crops, using on-farm solar energy, and increasing energy efficiency in farm operations.
The 2014 Pennsylvania Poultry Sales & Service Conference - and - 86th Northeastern Conference on Avian Diseases will be held September 24-25 at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel in State College, Pennsylvania. The program addresses current issues that affect the entire poultry industry as well as specific educational breakout sessions that cover Avian Disease, Broiler production, Turkey production and Egg production. There is also the option to participate in a pre-conference clay pigeon shoot at Warriors Mark Wingshooting Lodge and Kennels on September 23, and will include shells, lunch, drinks, and prizes for participants.
