Pasture Management Short Course starts March 2012

Posted: January 23, 2012

A five night Pasture Management course will help you manage your pastures for optimum production. You’ll learn about all aspects of pasture management and acquire the knowledge to develop a sustainable grazing plan for your farm.

Are your pastures lush and green throughout the spring, summer and fall?
Do you know the right amount of fertilizer and lime to apply? What are those weeds that grow every year?

This Short Course will answer these and many other questions concerning pasture management. Whether you have 5 acres or 50 acres; have horses, cattle, sheep, or any other grazing species you will leave this course with a solid foundation to provide productive pasture for your livestock.

Classes will be held on March 6, 13, 20, 27, April 3, 2012, from 7:30 - 9:30 PM at Penn State Extension, Bucks County, Neshaminy Manor Center, 1282 Almshouse Road, Doylestown, PA 18901.
