Master Gardener Demonstration Gardens
Posted: June 29, 2011
If you’ve never visited the Extension office you have missed an opportunity to see the demonstration gardens planted and maintained by our Penn State Master Gardener volunteers. There are a variety of gardens available for public viewing 7 days a week throughout the season, including an early spring bulb garden, shade gardens, annual gardens, a sunny slope garden, and an arboretum where the Master Gardeners have planted more than 65 trees. Informational brochures are available in the gardens, or you can take a walking tour of the Arboretum and see great trees for the Bucks County landscape.
If you’ve shopped at our Master Gardener Plant Sale, then you have had a hand in these gardens since all the proceeds from the plant sale go to support the Master Gardener program, including the plants, mulch, etc. that you see in the gardens. No tax money is used!
