Gearing Up for Kindergarten is a night of parent and child fun, parent information, reading, crafts, snacks, and more. This is a free program for our students who are eligible to register for Kindergarten in the Fall (2015).
Better Kids Care Professional Development Day consists of two workshops. CARA's Kit and Grow it, Try it, Like it.
This short course is a must for anyone bidding on landscape jobs. No matter what size your company, it pays to take a critical look at the business end of things.
Grow It, Try It, Like It! Preschool Fun with Fruits and Vegetables is a garden-themed nutrition education kit for child care center staff that introduces children to: three fruits - peaches, strawberries, and cantaloupe, and three vegetables - spinach, sweet potatoes, and crookneck squash.
Those attending the course will have the option to continue as a partner in a year-long parasite research project, provided through a NE SARE Research and Education Grant.

Military youth in 1st - 5th grades are invited to join us for a FREE day camp. Activities throughout the day will focus on fun facts about this great state!
Military Youth in 6th-12th grades are invited to come out for a FREE Tech Day Camp where the campers will produce their own storied movies using people, clay, drawing and building bricks. Using the stop-motion software we will create a story board, music, build our characters and backdrop set, and take several still-pictures for each frame of our short movie.
Supervision of children is a very important matter-but what exactly do supervision and staff child ratio mean to each staff member? We will explore roper supervision techniques and identify proper staff child ratios for different groups in the facility, as well as other times children are in care. Make your active environment one with great supervision techniques that focus on safety for all children and staff.
