Youth Poultry 101

This annual program will held Saturday April 29th, 2017. Program and registration are attached below. This program is for all youth 12 years of age and older and adults who enjoy learning and teaching youth about poultry.

Course Details

Penn State poultry faculty and other experts present advanced poultry topics and practical hands-on learning experiences.  DUE TO BIO-SECURITY, ALL ATTENDEES MUST BE AWAY FROM ANY POULTRY FOR AT LEAST 48 HOURS PRIOR TO ATTENDING THIS EVENT.

This is not an adult Small Flock Program; it is intended for youth and leaders working with youth programs. It is designed as a next step for the older more advanced youth, and this is the reason that no youth under 12 years of age will be accepted. We have asked the presenters to include advanced topics in their presentations and plan to allow hands-on learning as much as possible.
