Tractor and No-Till Drill
A no-till drill was used to thicken the current stand of grasses and introduce new grass varieties. The drill cuts a slit in the soil, places a seed in the slit and covers the seed with soil. The drill ensures proper seed depth and seed to soil contact, which is critical in establishing new grass seedlings. This drill plants seeds in rows that are 7 inches apart.
