Flies and Smells, A Management Challenge
Every spring the grass gets green, the flowers bloom and flies and odors come out. This seminar emphasizes the importance of fly and odor management and cow health, comfort and productivity, relationships with neighbors and the general public and worker comfort and productivity.
Dr. Dave Wolfgang discusses animal heath and management issues related to fly pests in barns, pastures and manure systems. Dr. Robert Mikesell discusses manure management and its relationship to odors and neighbors. Dr. Robert Graves discusses barn and manure system design and management practices and their relationship to flies and odors.
