The Dairy Obstetrics and Calf Sense program will combine scientific knowledge with practical management techniques in a learning experience that will help participants transfer effective calf management and protocols to the farm. It is intended to be beneficial for people that have done very little obstetrical or newborn calf work, and those who already have experience.
The Farm Executive Workshop will enhance agricultural executives capacity to address issues of management process implementation and follow through, address problems and opportunities as they arise, and allow members to investigate thoroughly how to effect change. The focus of this intensive effort is not farm production. The focus is business management, growth and long-term viability.
Dairy & Crops Compliance Day will feature two keynote addresses as well as provide compliance credits in Pesticide, Fumigation, Nutrient Management, Odor and Manure Hauler categories. In addition, certified Crop advisor credits will be offered at the meeting. Key Forage and Dairy topics will be addressed to inform growers of the latest issues in the dairy industry.
