Educational Programs
Master Gardeners attend a 20 session training program and then “pay back” by volunteering 50 hours in community-based gardening, beautification, and education efforts, including the demonstration gardens listed on this website. For details on the Master Gardener Training, Program click here.
The Speaker's Bureau provides your organization or garden club with a 45 minute to one hour presentation by an expert Master Gardener. From a long list, you can select a topic that is appropriate for your group. A fee is charged for this service to help support the many programs that Master Gardeners provide.
This free event includes children's activities, and tours of the annual flower trials, herb and pollinator gardens. Visit with local beekeepers and taste a variety of heirloom and hybrid tomatoes, as well as unique varieties of garlic and basil.
