Participating families spent five evenings discussing topics related to healthy meal choices, physical activity, and the importance of making healthy living a family priority. Extension Nutrition Educator Cindy Javor, a registered dietician, led the discussions and answered diet related questions. Cindy Stevans, Nutrition Advisor,  provided information from the “Eat Smart, Move More” program of Penn State Nutrition Links.

The funds for this program and food items were provided by a “Family Meals” grant and the YWCA.
