Local Food Showcase Connects Growers With Buyers

Growers, involved in food production, were introduced to buyers looking for local food sources for their restaurants, stores, markets, institutions and schools. LFS highlighted products from beets to beer at the Chatham University Fitness Center and Penn State Extension Educator, Heather Mikulas, arranged a full day of activities. Demonstrations by well known chefs preparing ingredients from local sources, workshops on marketing strategies and information on food access left everyone “hungry” for more!
