Tetra Tech, Inc.
Tetra Tech is a leading provider of environmental consulting, engineering, and technical services worldwide. Through an innovative pilot sponsored by the US EPA, environmental scientist Aileen Molloy and environmental engineer Russ Dudley from Tetra Tech’s Fair-fax, VA office have been working with the Conewago Initiative to help assess urban/suburban lands in the watershed for potential projects to improve stormwater management and restore streams. This work is important because cleaning up the Conewago cannot be borne by our farmers alone. Everyone is part of the solution.
Partnership in Action
In December, Aileen Molloy and Russ Dudley from Tetra Tech (shown in picture) spent three days visiting potential sites and gathering field data. The result will be a report providing summary assessments and recommendations, with a prioritization for implementation. This work will provide an action plan for watershed restoration and addressing stormwater in the Conewago moving forward.
