Farm Bill
The Farm Bill's environmental provisions are important to Pennsylvania, especially in the population-dense southeast. Farm Bill programs provide funding to help producers pay for implementing farming practices that protect environmental quality.

"A county like Lancaster County, which is our biggest agricultural count, has almost half a million people. And those people are living amongst the farmers; there's a lot of animals. And we want to make sure that we don't put too many nutrients--whether it be manure or fertilizer runoff--into the water supply and things like that.
