Visiting a Farm
Biosecurity and common sense are critical for visitors to Pennsylvania’s farms. Learn how to best reduce the chances of introducing disease to farms through proper preparation and protection.
This session is a more in-depth look at the essentials of biosecurity to prepare AG 101 participants for upcoming farm and field visits. The session also explores guidance prepared by Lancaster County Conservation District on best practices in interacting with the Plain Sect, and a brief introduction will be provided about the farms that will be visited during the farm/field tours.
