The Penn State Extension lead for the Nutrient Management Program is Dr. Doug Beegle, Distinguished Professor of Agronomy. Dr. Beegle serves as an educational resource to the Pennsylvania Nutrient Management Program by providing technical information to questions relating to nutrient management, manure management, water quality best management practices and related agronomic and livestock management issues.
Jerry Martin, Senior Extension Associate with the Nutrient Management Education Program serves as a liaison between the Penn State University and the PA Department of Agriculture. He acts as an educational resource to the Pennsylvania Nutrient Management Program by providing technical information to questions relating to nutrient management, manure management, water quality best management practices and related agronomic and livestock management issues.
Jennifer Weld, Project Associate, is also a member of Penn State Extension's Nutrient Management Team, providing technical support for the P Index and staff science support for the alternative uses initiative for the Nutrient Management Advisory Board.
