Visitors enjoying our Trial Gardens
Please join us on June 20 at 6 pm for garden walks! The Penn State Master Gardeners will be giving tours of the gardens, a pest walk in the community garden, compost information and demonstration, at the Agricultural and Natural Resources Center, 670 Old Harrisburg Road, Gettysburg, as well as an opportunity to walk with the community on the North Gettysburg Trail! Trained Nutrition volunteers will be offering trail mix to those that are walking and visiting the garden along with recipes to make your own. Learn what you can use in your garden to add a delightful and nutritional flavor to water.
Take advantage of an opportunity to learn a little about sustainable living by visiting the chicken tractor. Not sure what that is? Stop by and see! Get some of your questions answered about rain gardens and the benefits to our water supply. Check out the native plants used throughout the property. No registration or fee required.
