Extension Volunteers and 4-H Members:
Welcome to e-data, Penn State Cooperative Extension’s new online information management and communication system. e-data was designed in response to volunteer, staff and member requests and has a basis in research. It serves as a platform for enrollment, activity registration, communication, record-keeping and more. It can be used to track volunteer hours and activities, record attendance, post newsletters, communicate with members, and save time, money and effort in the process. |

Extension Staff
Cooperative Extension staff may access e-data using their existing Penn State logins and passwords. The Volunteerism/e-data area of the Central Region Sharepoint site provides e-data announcements, detailed instructions, the statewide e-data training schedule, and e-data materials for Extension staff. Extension staff may use their passwords to access the site at http://sharepoint.ag.psu.edu/coext/CentralRegion/ Downloadable materials are available in the e-data folder in the Shared Documents area. Staff are encouraged to add the e-data Sharepoint site to their Favorites lists and set alerts or check it frequently for announcements, updated instructions, and other e-data resources. Staff who need help logging into or using Sharepoint may contact Ag IT (http://it.cas.psu.edu./). IT offers excellent training and materials that can help users get the most out of Sharepoint. “How to” instructions for Sharepoint are available at http://go.cas.psu.edu/howto/HowToList.cfm?Cat=SharePoint |
