Jonathan Bensing Chosen for National 4-H Design Team

Chosen because of their philosophy of leadership, creativity, ability to represent themselves in a video, and their 4-H background, these gifted youth will be a part of creating the 2011 National 4-H Congress. They will serve as a part of a team of Extension professionals and 4-H volunteers. This youth-adult partnership will be challenged to create a dynamic national opportunity for young people from across the nation.
Jonathan has participated in 4-H since he was eight and currently serves as president of his club He was also a teen leader for his club and held the office of treasurer, 2007-2009. He has participated in State Achievement Days, Capital Days and 4-H fairs and was awarded the Superior Achievement Award this year. Along with his involvement in 4-H, Jonathan also enjoys golf, music, and volunteering as a student historian at the Ephrata Cloister, as state historic site.
