Here's what Matt Bishop had to say about his experience at Cnickenstock:
Chickenstock was nothing like what I expected it to be. It actually was better than I thought it would be! When we got to the event I saw people with campers and thought who would sleep over night at one of these things; but apparently a lot of people do. Once I got out of our car I walked into the barn where most of the birds for sale were located. I sat my ducks down and immediately went looking for birds. There were so many different types, colors, and sizes of poultry. I found what I was looking for, Silkies. I bought a White Silkie Pullet to add to my flock and thought she would make a perfect addition. Not only were there a ton of birds there were a ton of people. Everyone I came in contact with was extremely nice. Since this event was so huge Time magazine actually came and did a story on Chickenstock. Both Ashley and I were interviewed and we got our pictures taking with our birds. I cannot wait for next year’s Chickenstock because this one was so much fun.
