- Fruits and vegetables raised as part of a 4-H project may be sold as long as the guidelines for producers found on page 7-6 are followed. Groups selling fruits and vegetables from other sources must ensure the organization reputable, such as Sunkist. No reselling of food items purchased from truck farms and informal establishments will be approved. Consumers must be provided the Proper Care and Handling of Fruits and Vegetables brochure.
