The 4-H Club
What is a 4-H Club
A 4-H club consists of at least five members from a minimum of two families. Youth must be between the ages of 8–19, and Cloverbuds must be between the ages of 5–8. In 4-H, age is determined as of January 1st of the current year, youth must be at least 8 years old and not yet 19 years old by January 1st in order to be eligible for membership.
Most 4-H clubs have a business meeting for the entire membership once a month. They make decisions about projects to do, community service efforts, fundraising activities, election of officers, etc. Project meetings involve the adults and youth who want to work on a specific topic.
