When: Wednesday, January 30, 5:30 pm
Where: York County 4-H Center
Why: Visit with other leaders & volunteers, share your knowledge, learn new things;
Cost: $6.00 for a delicious meal catered by Bob’s Big Boy Bar-B-Q
Workshops:
- Linda & Lisa: Does the word robotics scare you? Do you think teaching science is out of your area? Do you wonder what inquiry based learning is all about? Lisa and Linda will introduce you to simple science that can be low cost but produce tons of excitement among your club members. Simple ways to make a big impact in science.
- Tia: 4-H Up For The Challenge program. This is an excellent program that can be used in its entirety or as break-out activities at meetings and 4-H events. Learn more about it and discuss ideas on how you can use it in your clubs.
- Mary Jo: I get stuck with the boring one! Get the latest information on Mandated Reporter Training, new dates, why Lock In & Officers’ Training will look differently this year, and other updates. And because this sounds boring, I’ll have exciting prizes & surprises to keep you awake & paying attention!
