Andrea Foore the daughter of Mark & Christine Foore of Seven Valleys, was a big winner at the Keystone International Livestock Expo. Andrea won both a $500 beef scholarship as well as a $1000.00 given by the Pennsylvania Livestock Association. A nine-year member of the York Co. 4-H program, she has been involved in the beef club & county council, holding offices and taking projects in leadership, livestock judging, market steers and beef breeding. She credits 4-H and her livestock experiences with “making me who I am today.” A fourth-generation Angus breeder, Andrea is active in the Pennsylvania and National Junior Angus associations, exhibiting locally and nationally, including at KILE. She is studying advertising and public relations with a minor in agriculture communications at Penn State University – York Campus. Andrea was also a member of the PA State Livestock Judging Team that recently traveled to Louisville, Kentucky to compete in the livestock judging contest. Kyle Livingston, Garrett Livingston and Alana Eisenhour rounded out the team that placed 1st at the judging contest during State Days. The team worked hard and traveled to several practice contests before competing in Louisville. Kayce Myers was a team alternate and traveled with them to Kentucky.
