FARM SHOW REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

2013 FARM SHOW –Projects due January 2 for Non Livestock or Dairy Projects
Did you receive a blue or gold ribbon on your 4-H project(s) at the 2012 4-H Fair? If you did we would like you to exhibit your 4-H project(s) at the PA Farm Show, January 5-12 in Harrisburg! With the expansion of the Farm Show Bldg, 4-H will have more space to fill and we want to have a great showing of the variety of projects.  Bring your projects to the Extension Office by 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 2. We will transport your projects to and from the Farm Show. You may pick up your entries at the Extension Office during the week of January 14-18. Read the rules & regulations carefully and follow exhibit instructions. Otherwise, your project will be disqualified by the judges. Pre-register at www.farmshow.state.pa.us by 12/15/12.

Registration for the 2013 PA Farm Show & the premium catalog can be found online at http://www.farmshow.state.pa.us/default.aspx Look in the lower right hand corner on the home page for Exhibitor Information. For all non-animal projects, registration is due on Dec. 15. This is for Dept. 24, Family Living, which includes most of your 4-H projects. If you have vegetables, honey, baked goods or other non-animal projects – please check the website for registration deadlines. If you would like us to transport your 4-H project to the Farm Show, you must have it in the office by 4 pm, Wed, January 2.
