The Pearl Kneller Scholarship is in memory of Pearl Kneller who was a leader in the Jefferson 4-H Club for many years before her untimely death. The family is offering a $500 scholarship to qualified 4-H members.
Attention all children that enjoy camping and the great outdoors! Our 2016 4-H Overnight Camp will be held June 25-28 at Camp Eder near Fairfield, in Adams County.
Find out if you are up for the challenge at Survivor Camp! This day camp is for all York County 8-12 yr olds and will be held at the 4-H Center June 13 - 16, 2016.
Thank you to everyone who assisted with the 4-H Auction this year. This includes those who worked in the kitchen, youth auction, records room, bake sale, soda table and Corian table; served as clerks, runners, and announcers and assisted with set up and clean up.
Each year we get 100’s of requests for petting zoos from individuals with birthday parties to large corporations asking for 4-H members to bring animals out. Extension staff do not have the time to assist with petting zoos, but we don’t want to tell people 4-H is not interested if there are clubs willing to do them.
Eli Meiler, a former 4-H member who was severely burned in December would like to thank the 4-H families for their support during his healing.

“Rockin’ Out To Leadership” was the theme for the 2016 Pennsylvania State 4-H Leadership Conference, February 21 and 22, at The Penn Stater Conference Center in State College, PA. Adams and York County had 4-H delegates attend the event along with over 325 teens from across Pennsylvania.
