Officers’ Books, Outstanding Club Portfolios, and Keystone Recognition Forms will all be due on December 30, 2015. 4-H County Achievement Program will be announced shortly.
Be sure your club is collecting dimes in the 16 oz. water bottles (or something similar). Have your club decorate the bottles, being sure to put your club name & 4-H on the label. Have friends, families, co-workers – anyone, drop their dimes into these bottles.
The York Fair Special Award is open to any 4-H member who has exhibited at the York Fair for at least 2 years. 4-H members must be at least 16 years of age.
Information on how to obtain the required background checks to satisfy the 2015 requirements has been sent to all existing 4-H volunteers. If you are an approved 4-H volunteer and have not received this information from me, please contact me.

Club Portfolios - There are exciting changes for 2015 – new categories, more chances to win and a digital option!
Everyone is invited to attend the first annual York County Great Insect Fair on July 11 from 10 am – 4 pm at the 4-H Center. You will learn and experience insects as you never have before! This is also an Opportunity for a Club to Make some Cash!
All horses over six months of age must have proof of a current negative Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA) status for all PA 4-H horse shows & events.
Thank you to everyone who assisted with the 4-H Auction this year. This includes those who worked in the kitchen, youth auction, records room, bake sale, soda table and Corian table; served as clerks, runners and announcers and assisted with set up and clean up.
There will be a new way to do both the Annual 4-H Volunteer Clearances and the Child Abuse Reporter Training for 2015. This will be for both new volunteers as well as returning volunteers in our 4-H program.
If you’re enrolled in a livestock or dairy project you can come out for a judging team.
