4-H Horse Camp Counselors Receive Training
Posted: May 22, 2012
Twenty devoted 4-H teens took the time to attend a weekend training to better understand their job as counselors for the 4-H Horse Camp planned for June 18 – 21 this year at the Westmoreland Fairgrounds. These youth will have a lot of responsibility keeping both campers ages 8-12 and their horses in a safe environment while they increase horsemanship skills and riding skills. In addition, youth will have craft time, learn new games and engage in horse educational workshops. To learn more, call the Extension Office!
