Horse Clubs
Our primary project is the horse project. Our members also participate in other project areas, such as photography, public speaking, rabbits, goats, dogs, and more.
We sponsor a horse show every summer. In the winter we meet indoors, where we plan our annual Christmas Party, Community Service Project, club trips, Day Camp and other activities.
Approximately 25 members, ranging from 4-H ages 8 through 18. Members are required to turn in a completed project book, do a club demonstration and participate or volunteer in various club activities and horse shows. We also do one community service project each year.
We are a 4-H Horse Club and have members from ages 8 - 18 years of age. Most members enjoy showing horses, especially in the game events, but we do also have members who just like to trail ride.
Our club offers the 4-H equine projects and was awarded the Outstanding Club Award for the years 1999 and 2000.
Our club provides leadership in the equine 4-H projects. Horse and Pony Performance and Production. Junior Leadership. We are a sister club to the Chestnut Ridge 4-H Club.
