4-H Development Committee:
4-H Development Committee is a group of dedicated adults from around the county whose main focus is to raise funds to run the 4-H program in Venango County. The group holds three major fundraisers each year, a May 4-H Yard Sale the 1st 2 weeks in May, Gameland at the fair, and a 4-H auction and yard sale in November. The 4-H Auction is held the 1st Saturday in November and the 4-H Yard Sale is held two weekends surrounding the auction. The 4-H Development Committee sponsors 4-H In The Mall, 4-H Kick Off Party, Project Book Awards, and over 100 4-H scholarships. This group meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month (except August, December and January) at 7:00 p.m. at the Venango County Fairgrounds
4-H Horse Leaders:
The 4-H Horse Leaders are a group of dedicated volunteers who work to support the 4-H Horse Program. This committee organizes and runs 3 4-H horse qualifiers (June, July, and at the fair in August). The group meets the 1st Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Venango County Fairgrounds.
4-H Livestock Leaders:
4-H Livestock Leaders are dedicated to supporting the 4-H livestock program in Venango County. This group organizes and manages all 4-H livestock weigh-in's, the 4-H shows at the fair, and the 4-H livestock auction. This group meets the 1st Wednesday of September, March, June, and July at 7:00 p.m. at the Venango County Fairgrounds.
