Whether you raise cattle, horses, sheep, goats, llamas, or bison, you run them on pasture. Knowing how to manage your pasture usually makes or breaks an operation. This workshop is for managers of all species; however, there are two added features for beef producers: BQA Level 2 Chute-Side Training and a chance to view a portable cattle handling facility.

The National 4-H Council is holding the "Teens Take on Health Video Challenge." The contest is open to teens 13-19 years old as of the start date of the promotion. Grand prize of $1,000. Top five finalists will receive $500 each.

A "Field Day" for fun and learning is scheduled on Saturday, April 20, 2013, (9:30 AM - 3:00 PM) at Rock Springs (Ag Progress Days site) near Penn State. This state event is open to all 4-H'ers (ages 7-18) interested in or currently taking 4-H wildlife or forestry projects. 4-H adult volunteers and parents are also welcome to attend.
