4-H Horse Camp: Education and Fun!

The annual 3-Day 4-H Horse Camp held at the Harford Fairgrounds June 16-18th. Riders are instructed in English and Western, Trail, Contest, Jumping, and Grooming and Showmanship skills. There will be several other workshops! The fee for 4-H Horse Camp is $25 for Susquehanna County 4-Hers and $30 for out of county 4-H members: Registration deadline is May 26th.
4-H Dairy Camp: Join the Fun!

Susquehanna County 4-H Dairy members are welcome to attend the Susquehanna County 4-H Dairy Camp to be held on June 27-28th, beginning at 8:30 am at the Harford Fairgrounds. Members will be paired up with teammates, and given the opportunity to train and fit a dairy heifer over the two days. The registration deadline is Tuesday, June 6th.
Regional 4-H Fashion Revue: Save the Date

The 4-H Regional Fashion Revue will be held on Monday, June 19th at the Mehoopany Baptist Church in Wyoming County from 9:30 a.m. – 2:15 p.m. Members taking the following projects can compete in the revue: Both wearable (like skirts and shorts) and non-wearable (such as pillows, stuffed animals) items are eligible for entry. Registration deadline is June 2.
4-H Scholarship Horse Show

The Annual 4-H Scholarship Horse Show will be held on Saturday, July 8th at the Harford Fairgrounds. The Horse Show will include competitive classes, division champion, and lots of fun!
4-H One Day Camp!

Join us and bring a friend for this fun-filled, educational day on Wednesday, July 19th at the Harford Fairgrounds. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. There will be a $5 to attend. Pre-registration is appreciated by calling 278-1158 by July 11th.

The 2017 4-H Wildlife and Forestry Field Day, held at Rock Springs, PA, was another “wild” success! 4-H youth and adults from across the state explored the wildlife and forestry sciences. The event featured an Exploratory Track for younger 4-H youth and a Science Track for teens. The theme for the Exploratory Track presented tools and methods for wildlife and forestry research, while the Science Track focused on applying research knowledge to managing forests and wildlife.
