2012 State 4-H Leadership Conference
Posted: February 10, 2012
The conference brought together 360 youth, ages 13-18, from across Pennsylvania for a three-day leadership training, networking and learning experience.
Nationally known speakers led sessions on stress management, leadership wellness, role modeling, creativity, personal communications, marketing, and team-building. Each workshop allowed participants the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning experiences while developing citizenship and leadership skills.
The conference culminated on Sunday by delegates taking part in the conclusion of the statewide “Food Check-Out Day” service project. Counties across the state collected aluminum pop tabs, which were donated to Ronald McDonald House of Danville, Pa., for recycling in exchange for funds that benefit the "home-away-from-home" for families with hospitalized children.
