Over 240 4-H award winners, parents, leaders, and business sponsors were in attendance at the Annual Somerset County 4-H Recognition Dinner held at the Berlin Community Building on Thursday, October 18, 2012.

The Pennsylvania State University, University Park Campus, played host to 4-H members from across Pennsylvania for the annual 68th 4-H State Achievement Days from August 7-9.
The Somerset County 4-H Council held its annual meeting on Monday, April 16, 2012. The Council held a brief meeting and then had a presentation dealing with "National Youth Safety Month."
Several Somerset County junior Holstein members participated in the Pennsylvania Jr. Holstein convention held in Gettysburg, PA on February 10-12.
Pennsylvania 4-H hosted its annual State 4-H Leadership Conference, January 20-22 at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center in State College.
The 4-H Exchange Program is transitioning to a new 4-H Club.
