History Comes Alive with 4-H
Posted: January 14, 2013
4-H leader and historian, Roxanne Scott, will guide members through an exploration of art, genealogy, birds, musical instruments, old clothing or whatever else sparks your child's interest and imagination. The end project will be writing a pamphlet for other children who visit the museum.
Research shows that 4-H youth make healthy life-choices. Young people in 4-H are 3.4 times more likely to delay sexual activity, have significantly lower drug, alcohol and cigarette use than their peers and are 2.3 times more likely to be physically active.
To take advantage of this enriching opportunity, contact the 4-H office at Penn State Extension, 514 Broad Street, Milford PA 18337, 570-296-3400, or by e-mail. To learn more about 4-H visit the 4-H section of our website.
