4-H Robotic Challenge
Posted: July 6, 2012
As part of 4-H NYSD, youth can participate in the 4-H Eco-Bot Challenge: the 2012 National Science Experiment. This year’s experiment will introduce children to robotic engineering concepts as they program a robot to clean up a simulated environmental spill.
Pike County 4-H is looking for adult volunteers to lead a robotics club that will then be able to participate in the 4-H National Youth Science Day.
4-H leaders provide guidance and inspiration for children age 5-18. In 4-H youth learn through hands-on opportunities in a variety of projects. 4-H projects help children master skills, gain independence and learn responsibility.
