4-H State Achievement Days is an educational three-day program for 4-H members (ages 13-18), sponsored by Penn State Extension. This annual event is held to demonstrate achievement of 4-H members and provide recognition of their accomplishments in competitive as well as non-competitive events.
It’s NOW time to register for 4-H Camp Shehaqua an 'I, SPY!" adventure! Northampton County will again be camping with Carbon, Lehigh, and Schuylkill counties. Camp is scheduled for July 7-11, 2014 at Hickory Run State Park in White Haven, PA. Scholarships are available for 4-H members, please contact Brad at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you to all the 4-H Clubs that participated in Adventures in Agriculture to help make the general public more aware of the 4-H program in Northampton County. Participating clubs were: Clever Clovers, Little Rascals, Mt. Bethel, Dairy, Sprouts, Livestock, Beef, Swine, Our Eyes Have Paws, Vital Signs, and the 4-H Embryology Program.
This year’s 4-H Tree Sale will be held on Saturday April 27th. This is Northampton County 4-H’s biggest fundraiser.
The Tractor Supply Company is again running its 4-H Paper Clover Campaign, April 23-May 4, 2014!
Mark your calendar now to join 4-H at the beautiful Camp Shehaqua for an ‘I, SPY!’ adventure! Northampton County will again be camping with Carbon, Lehigh, and Schuylkill counties. Camp is scheduled for July 7-11, 2014 at Hickory Run State Park in White Haven, PA.
The 4-H Center will open in early April. It is available to clubs for free; however, dates need to be reserved. Dates are on a first-come first-serve basis; please reservations in early.
Any 4-H member planning to take a steer to the 2015 PA Farm Show must contact the Extension Office to get their animal tagged and registered. Tagging should be completed no later than June 1, 2014
