2013 4-H Veterinary Science Short Course

January 31, 2013, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PMThis program will address how to prepare for a career, look at schooling needs, and help participants experience some of the daily duties of a veterinarian or vet technician. Other topics will include determining animal health (office visits), animal handling and safety, acupuncture, lab radiology, and parasite control. Members may even have an opportunity to view a surgery procedure on one of the nights.
We are very pleased to have the staff of the Animal Medical Center in Trappe volunteering to be our instructors. The clinic specializes in companion animals and exotics.
The course will run five Thursday nights, from January 31st, up to and including February 28th. Classes will be held 6:30-7:30 PM at the Animal Medical Center, 25 West Third Avenue, Trappe, PA 19426.
Pre-registration is required.

The fee is $25.00 per person.
Youth do not need to be in 4-H prior to the course but by enrolling in the program they will be listed as a member for the year. Enrollment is limited.
