4-H Equine & Livestock Science Camp is a hands-on, science-focused residential camp for 4-H members who are enrolled in an animal science project and who were between the ages of 13 and 18 as of January 1, 2016. Screened 4-H volunteers or Extension staff are welcome to register as chaperones for this event, as workshop content will be of interest to adults as well as youth.
4-H members enrolled in textile science projects are invited to participate in the Northwest Pennsylvania 4-H Regional Fashion & Textile Revue. Guests are invited to attend free of charge. A short program will be offered for guests to attend while participants complete the afternoon workshops. Note that the Textile Revue is new in 2016 and being held as a pilot contest in the Northwest.
Roundup is the one time each year that your club can get together with all other Mercer County 4-H clubs "Stepping into New Challenges." Make sure your club is represented in the 4-H Showcase and Club Displays. This is how we share the 4-H fun.
Held during Ag Progress Days, teams of four will compete in a series of head-to-head elimination matches. Teams will be asked questions and awarded for correct answers. There are two age divisions - junior (ages 8-12) and senior (13-18). Any youth with equine interest can participate.
