Between the soda, soft pretzels, pizza, chips, candy and other goodies, we just couldn’t fit the chocolate chip cookie cake! The 4-H Teen Club had quite the fun at our Holiday Party.
The February monthly meeting will be Friday the 17 at 6:30 p.m., Building 6, Memorial Drive, Throop.
Who Should Attend? 4-H or open show judges, applicants for the Pennsylvania 4-H judges list, coaches and 4-H senior members (14-18 years of age), FFA and other youth horse judging teams, show managers, and show committee members.

Lackawanna County 4-H would like to invite you to participate in the planning of our local 4-H Centennial Celebration. Whether you are a parent, member, leader, or alumni, we need your input.
The next monthly meeting is scheduled for January 13,2012; 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.; Building 6 Memorial Drive, Throop, PA. Members will be working on the “Make it with Mixes” project by doing some book work.

Lackawanna County 4-H is in the process of revising the Fair Judging Sheet for the 2013 Northeast Fair. The 4-H member will now be judging themselves for up to 20 points of their score. We are working on a rubric to help members with their scoring. Leaders’ judging will now be for up to 30 points of the scoring and the Fair Judge will still be 50 points of the scoring. Below is an example of the new judging sheet.
