The 2014 Pennsylvania 4-H Capital Days will be held March 29-31, 2014 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Capital Days is a 3-day experiential program that provides youth with the unique opportunity to enhance their citizenship and advocacy skills and knowledge of Pennsylvania state government.
SAVE THE DATE: We have revise the program for 2014. All interested youth ages 7-18 are welcome to attend regardless of their past involvement with 4-H wildlife or forestry projects.
For ages 16-18 (as of 1/1/14). Counselors are required to have a minimum of 16 hours of training (sample topics- leadership, team building, health & safety, child care, youth development, first aid) and this workshop provides 5 hours of training.
4-H State Achievement Days is an educational three-day program for 4-H members (ages 13-18), sponsored by Penn State Extension. This annual event is held to demonstrate achievement of 4-H members and provide recognition of their accomplishments in competitive as well as non-competitive events.
The PA 4-H State Leadership Conference provides a state level educational experience for Pennsylvania 4-H members that builds and enhances skills used throughout their 4-H careers and beyond.
