4-H Horse Club Members Compete in Hippology Contest

Hippology means "the study of horses," and members' knowledge was tested on such topics as gaits, 4-H rule book, leg protection, breeds, riding patterns and deworming. The contest also included a written test and slide identification.
The top individuals in four age divisions were recognized as follows:
Kaylee Henderson, Shawnee Riders, first; Macey Sleppy, Trailblazers, second, and John Clark Bruner, Trailblazers, third.
Elizabeth Bruner, Trailblazers, first; Annalee McCloskey, Ghost Town Riders and Danielle Adams, Sleepy Hollow, tied for second, and Molly Sloppy, Trailblazers, fourth.
Andrew Adams, Sleepy Hollow, first; Paige Almes, Trailblazers, second, and Cloe Bowser, Sleepy Hollow, third.
Rachel Sproat, Trailblazers, first; Erin Pierce, Trailblazers, second; Montana McCloskey, Ghost Town Riders, third, and Zach Edwards, Ghost Town Riders, fourth.
District 10 4-H Horse Program Committee provided awards for the contest.
