Campers are the Southwest Regional 4-H Camp had an unexpected visitor at a camp - a Pennsylvania black bear. The PA Game Commission was visiting camp to do a workshop, but happened to catch a nuisance bear that morning. They asked to bring the bear to camp to show campers how a bear is processed.

Campers were able to watch as the bear was given a tattoo and eartag, weighed, and had a tooth pulled to determine age.  The bear was then released near Somerset County.  It was an exciting experience that many people will never get to see.
