Youth are welcome to join and learn about raising 4-H market hogs.
The following clubs provide learning opportunities about dairy animals. Youth are welcome to participate in club meetings and can show dairy animals on the county, district and state levels.
Become a youth or adult volunteer Seeing Eye Puppy Raiser for The Seeing Eye. Learn about dogs and raise your own puppy specifically trained to become a Seeing Eye Dog for the blind. This club meets in the Chambersburg Area and has many off-site events. You do not have to raise a puppy to be involved with the club.
These clubs are focused on learning about Horses. You do not have to have a horse to be involved in Horse Clubs.
4-H Meat Goat Club gives youth ages 8-18 the opportunity to learn about meat goats. Participants can raise and show both breeding and market animals. The club meets every 2nd Thursday between the months of January and September at the Ag Heritage Center on Franklin Farm Lane. For additional information, please call Jason Goetz at 717-263-9226.
