Area Youth Visit 4-H Fair

Students on tour from 4-H Creating Community Networks visit with 4-H members who raised sheep for the Chester County 4-H Fair.
The 4-H Fair tours are a wonderful opportunity for youth from non-farm communities to gain a better understanding of where their food comes from and the responsibility and hard work needed to raise an animal, whether it is livestock or a pet.
Tours were given Tuesday and Wednesday morning in the livestock barn to 4-H Creating Community Networks members and the public.
On Tuesday, 109 youth visited from eight Chester County communities including southern Chester County and Coatesville. On Wednesday, 80 students visited from southern Chester County, West Chester, and Spring City communities.
