Several teens took the 2011-2012 4-H theme very seriously as they participated in a variety of events this spring. They were certainly “taking the lead” when they chose to participate in these activities that would enhance their leadership skills, improve their knowledge of advocacy and create relationships that would last a lifetime.
Are you taking a small animal project? If so, why not write a story about your pet? You must be enrolled in a dog, cat, rabbit, pet care, or poultry project. Essays are limited to 500 words. The subject is “What I Have Learned in My 4-H Small Animal Project.”
Join the Centre County 4-H Dairy Club, Penns Valley 4-H Rams, Centre County 4-H Teen Council, and the Happy Valley 4-H Club as the first clubs in the 4-H Keystone Society—Congratulations!
Express your talent in poster art by entering your work in a state contest. Your poster may portray any theme but must promote 4-H.
Why not take some time and photograph your project animals, friends, family, or pets and enter your pictures in the state photography contest?
The 4-H program Council is sponsoring a contest to increase awareness of 4-H alumni and volunteers, and to raise funds for the 4-H endowment. Local 4-H alumni will be featured in an exhibit at Grange Fair.
