Come Learn About Pennsylvania's Forests and Wildlife! The PA 4-H Wildlife & Forestry Educational Field Day is a state level experience for all 4-H youth. It is slated this year for April 26, 2014, and will take place in Rock Springs, PA (at The Ag Progress Days Site), 12 miles south of State College, PA. There are some big changes planned for the 4-H Wildlife and Forestry Day this year!

Camp Brule is open to all 4-Hers ages 8-18 from Bradford, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, and Wyoming counties! Camp Brule offers many opportunities! Not only can you go for nature hikes, sleep in tents, and do crafts, you can make new friends from other counties and memories that will last forever! The theme for 2014 is “Laua,” so be sure to plan for a fun week in the sun!
Join us for the 2014 Regional Fashion Revue to be held at the Mehoopany Baptist Church. Textile Science members get an opportunity to model their outfits, learn new crafts, and meet 4-Hers from other counties.
OMK, along with Easter Seals of Western and Central PA, are pleased to collaborate with 4-H, PA National Guard Child & Youth Program, 171st ARW Air National Guard, Army Reserves, Center for Safe Schools, American Legion Auxiliary, and Nicholas Wolfe Foundation on this effort. “Operation Camp Soles” is an opportunity for campers to have fun in the outdoors, enjoy making new friends, and challenge themselves with new activities all to enhance self-confidence and personal growth.
4-H State Achievement Days is an educational three-day program for 4-H members (ages 13-18), sponsored by Penn State Extension. This annual event is held to demonstrate achievement of 4-H members and provide recognition of their accomplishments in competitive as well as non-competitive events.
2014 Camp Military Kid Strong is a 6 night, 7 day residential camp held at Camp Victory in Columbia County. It is a military melting pot where military children from Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard come together and develop life skills in a fun, safe environment.
The PA 4-H State Leadership Conference provides a state level educational experience for Pennsylvania 4-H members that builds and enhances skills used throughout their 4-H careers and beyond.
Penn State Extension’s Operation: Military Kids is pleased to invite everyone, military families and general public, to attend the 6th Annual Salute to the Military Child Family Fun Fair. This free event will take place from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Saturday, March 28th at Penn State’s Snider Agricultural Arena. We are once again teaming up with students from Penn State’s RPTM 356 class to kick-off our annual celebration. We invite you to join us for an afternoon of games, entertainment, door prizes, and a community resource fair. Collegiate FFA will be on site with a food stand. Free food vouchers for use at food stand for military family members!
