Adams County 4-H Membership
A few key facts about 4-H membership.
- A 4-H Club is five or more members with an adult leader.
- There are 6 community clubs, 9 animal clubs, and 8 specialty clubs in Adams County
- The club may be all girls, all boys, or boys and girls in a mixed group.
- You
must be at least 8 years old of the current year but not older than 18
as of January 1 of the current year to be eligible to join.
- Adams County has a few "Cloverbud" programs for youth ages 5-8 years of age
- Meetings are held regularly for business, project lessons and recreation.
- Individual
clubs determine the feasibility of club dues, their own year-round
program, time and place of meetings, and number of meetings to be held.
- Clubs function under the leadership of screened volunteer adult leaders.
